Buying A Laptop FAQs

Q. – Can I exchange the laptop I purchased for a different model?
A. – Yes. You can try out any computer for up to thirty days. If you decide you want to upgrade to a more powerful laptop you can trade your current laptop back in and get full credit towards a higher model. For example, if you purchased the $149 model and want to get the $200 model you only have to pay the $50 additional and we will upgrade you to that model. This option is available for only the first 30 days.

Q. – Are the laptops wireless?
A. – Yes. Every laptop we offer for sale is wireless. This means they have wireless cards that will allow you to connect to Wi-Fi networks. You must be in range of a wireless network in order to get online. Places such as Libraries, Hotels, Coffee shops etc. often offer free Wi-Fi within their premises. If you are at home, you should have active Internet service and wireless router to be able to get Online
.
Q. – Do the laptops have viruses or data from the previous owner?
A. – NO. We always reformat the Hard Drives. We then install new operating system with all the latest updates
.
Q. – Do you offer a warranty on the laptops?
A. – Yes. All used laptops come with 90 day limited hardware warranty
.
Q. – What does the warranty cover?
A. – The warranty covers all the hardware failures of the computer. It does not cover accidental damage, theft, liquid spills, etc. If anything on the computer stops working due to normal use we will fix it for you at no cost. In addition, if you ever get a virus within first 30 days, we will completely wipe the Hard Drive and re-install everything fresh free of charge. For any repairs not covered under warranty you will still get 20% discount on any pc/laptop purchased from us

Q. – Do the batteries on the laptops work?
We do not guarantee the batteries on the laptops. They are the original battery and may no longer hold a charge. Batteries  usually last about 2-3 years after which they may need to be replaced. Some batteries may last 1-2 hours were other may hold for only 30 minutes. We offer brand new replacement batteries for around $40
.
Q. – What is the return policy?
A. – You can try out any computer for up to thirty days. If you decide you want to upgrade to a more powerful laptop you can trade your current laptop back in and get full credit towards a higher model. This option is available for only the first 30 days

RETURNS WITHOUT A RECIEPT WILL BE ISSUED AS STORE CREDIT ONLY
All returns must be done within the first thirty days and the computer must be in the same condition it was when you purchased it

Q. – Do you offer Layaway?
A. – Yes. We offer layaway plans. The minimum deposit is 20% and you can pay off the rest within 8 weeks. We will hold the laptop for you during the layaway period. You can not take the laptop until it has been paid in full. The 20% down payment is not refundable

Q. – Is the software licensed and legitimate?
A. – Yes. The operating system and software on the computer are 100% licensed and fully activated. You will be able to verify the authenticity, download Microsoft updates etc.

Q. – Can I upgrade these laptops?
A. – Yes. Most of these laptops can be upgraded. However, we recommend you simply purchase the next model up rather than buy a less expensive model and paying to upgrade it. You will get more for the money by purchasing the next model up which is going to be an upgrade
